People, Shelter, Storm 2015

The last day of Creative Drama for the quarter was a day of games and celebration.  We played a game called "People, Shelter, Storm" which I got off of a wonderful blog called "Beat to Beat".  It is a game where students are not being competitive, they just have to help each other.  You have three people, two make a shelter with their arms, and one person is underneath the shelter.  When the leader yells, "Shelter" the people who are the shelters must move and go to shelter someone else.  When the leader yells, "people" the people under the shelters must move to different shelter.  When the leader yells, "storm" everyone has to move and find different people to work with and different shelters.  You can become a shelter, you can become a person.  It is all about teamwork, and listening, and being willing to risk going from a person to a shelter and back again.  Here are some pictures to delight and amaze you all.

As always, a picture is worth a thousand words.  Have a great week, and thank you to all the veterans who have kept us safe and without anxiety all these many years through so many wars.
